Kathleen Hanna
I am a big fan of Kathleen Hanna. She has been a personal inspiration for me ever since I first heard a song by Bikini Kill around 1999 (I was about 15 then). I learned that she did not only make cool music, she is the pioneer of the feminist punk riot grrrl movement and has a powerful voice against sexism and violence against women.
Her message is still very accurate today.
Last year I finally saw The Julie Ruin live in a tiny hall in Brussels, and it was the most authentic concert I’ve ever attended.
